The new year has already been a busy one — in every way but photography, unfortunately. My day job has been keeping me busy, so I have had little time to spare for my favorite hobby. Autumn and I were able to get away two weekends ago to visit friends in Augusta and their new baby boy Alexander.

Thanksgiving at Dad’s has been a tradition for almost ten years. Autumn and I haven’t gone every year, but we do try to make it when we can. Usually it’s a festive occasion with our extended family from Ohio, but this year it was just the four of us, three cats, and a dog.

Ever since our successful photoshoot last spring, Heidi and I have been meaning to repeat the experience. Last Sunday finally afford us a last-minute opportunity.
