There’s one truism that’s hard to avoid in photography: you have to have light. Some situations just don’t have enough, and/or what it does have lacks quality. This year’s holiday party I shot at MAcon’s Terminal Station presented several challenges.

Turkey Day 2011
Thanksgiving at Dad’s has been a tradition for almost ten years. Autumn and I haven’t gone every year, but we do try to make it when we can. Usually it’s a festive occasion with our extended family from Ohio, but this year it was just the four of us, three cats, and a dog.

My Little Devil
Not only did I get to have the cutest little witch in Macon by my side, but today Autumn is the hottest little devil I’ve ever seen.
Spirits in October
Last night, Autumn and I went to the Riverside Cemetery’s Spirits in October event. I thought it sounded a bit cheesy, but I ended up having a good time and learning a couple of things about Macon and Riverside Cemetery.

Crossroads 2011
Once again, I was the official photographer for the 2011 Crossroads Writers Conference and Literary Festival in Macon, GA.

Prom Night
April 30th was a big day for local high-schoolers: with all schools hosting the milestone event on the same night, the entire town went prom crazy.
