Yesterday was a special day — one of my best friends came home for a visit and we celebrated the occasion with a girls day out, complete with lunch at Lane’s and an afternoon photo session under the sun.

Foto Friday in Regents Park
While we had several Foto Friday shoots scheduled, only one actually flew. And we did it only because the students who attended asked me to do it. I’m glad they did.
Hampton Court
Sunday found me and the rest of the European Council’s London Program visiting Hampton Court. I have been here two times previously, and I was anxious to go again to see if I could experience it again in a unique way as a photographer. I’m not sure if I was successful with that goal, but I had a good time none the less.
Brandi & Shane (with Madison)
Yesterday was Father’s Day and it might have been one of the hottest days we’ve had so far this year here in central Georgia. I think it was 105° F in the middle of the day. So naturally, this is when we met Brandi and Shane for their engagement session.
Veronica
This week we had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful baby girl named Veronica. Her sweet mommy and I went to high school together, and her daddy is serving our country.
Around the Cabin
It’s always nice to get away to the mountains, even if it’s only for a couple of days. Whenever we can, Autumn and I take 441 north through Georgia, western North Carolina, the Smoky Mountains National Park, and into Tennessee to visit Dad and Sharon.
