The recent Norman Mailer Society conference was held last weekend in Washington D.C. Not only did I present a paper, but I was one of two official photographers.
I’m not a particular fan of the fair. I never was growing up in Florida, and I certainly am not here in central Georgia. However, I must admit that photographic opportunities abound. If I go, I take the camera.

Last week, I was involved in grading the AP Literature exam in Louisville, KY. I cannot give any real specifics about the grading, but it was an interesting time, and it allowed me the opportunity to get on the motorcycle and travel a bit before I had to report.
