We had the pleasure of returning to the W’s home to capture some holiday moments with this sweet family. You may remember baby Veronica, though she’s grown quite a bit since we last saw her. This time she was able to wiggle and squirm her way out of photos, so we had to be quick on our feet and owe many of her smiles to a handy little squeak toy. Thanks again to the W family – we were honored to be invited for a repeat photo session, and we hope you all like the results as much as we do.

On a beautiful October day we met with Brenda and her grandkids, all gathered together for a family visit and a trip to the Georgia National Fair. While the weather was warm and the sunshine plentiful, a hint of fall lingered in the air. We took advantage of the nice day and explored the lovely Macon State College campus, snapping away while the kids frolicked in the grass and fed geese by the pond. We enjoyed the evening and hope the pictures prove it!

This week we had the pleasure of photographing a beautiful baby girl named Veronica. Her sweet mommy and I went to high school together, and her daddy is serving our country. Veronica was a darling model, and she wants her dad to know just how much she misses him, loves him, and loves the USA. The gallery is private, but we couldn’t resist sharing a small peek at this little beauty. Enjoy!

Autumn and I have always wanted to do a newborn session, and we finally got our wish with Maddy, Heather and Chris’ beautiful little daughter.

Autumn had many ideas for this shoot, but we had to work according to Maddy’s desires. So, I found some light, and shot when I could. Even though we might have wanted the session to go longer, I think we got some pretty good shots. Here’s a sample:

I used two lenes for this shoot: the Canon 50mm f/1.4 and the Canon 24-70mm f/2.8 L. I love the the short depth of field that the former brings, but the latter is superior is all other ways. I need to get the Canon 50mm f/1.2. Anyone care to donate?

On Sunday afternoon we met up with Jackie and Frank and their cute little boy, CJ. The last time we saw this couple, they had just learned that CJ would be joining their family, and now he’s almost 6 months old! Time flies, and we were happy that they asked us to take their first family photos.

After catching up over lunch, we enjoyed the nice weather in Washington Park and captured a few great moments with this sweet family of three.
