Last night, Autumn and I went to the Riverside Cemetery’s Spirits in October event. I thought it sounded a bit cheesy, but I ended up having a good time and learning a couple of things about Macon and Riverside Cemetery.
Well, it’s not exactly “new” anymore, but the Canon EF 85mm f/1.2 L USM is my current favorite lens. In fact, it rarely comes off the camera.
It’s that time of year again. Spring means two things for central Georgia: the Cherry Blossom festival and pollen. It’s Macon’s most famous pagan festival of rebirth under the Yoshino trees in full pink.
Before coming home for a visit — she moved to Brooklyn a few months ago — Heidi contacted me about a photo shoot. I readily agreed, since our last session was so fruitful.
The latest addition to the lens arsenal is Canon’s famous EF 85mm f/1.2 L II USM. Since I have always considered myself, above all, a portrait photographer, I have been wanting this lens for a long time.
