July 19-21, 2000: The MacWorld Expo New York

This month, MacWorld magazine and Apple host the semi-annual love-in known as the MacWorld Expo. On this eve of the Expo, rumors are flying about what will be intruduced and highlighted, from a new iMac (likely) a cube-shaped, monitorless iMac (unlikely), to a merger between Apple, Pixar, and Disney (absolutely outrageous). Better still, we'll have pictures!

Gerald and Giles will both be traveling to New York with PowerBooks and digital camera in hand. We'll test drive the latest in hardware and software offerings, grab demos, free stuff, and generally cause trouble at the Microsoft booth. We'll sort the good from the bad and bring the best info back to Tampa Bay—so we're completely up to date with what solutions will work for you and your Mac.

Interested in finding out more about the expo? We will be updating this page daily during the Expo. Also, several of the news sites will be updated several times Wednesday, the day of Steve Jobs' keynote address (where all the goodies from the Mother Ship are introduced). If you'd prefer, watch a live webcast.
