ENGL 3106.2: Professional Comm

Course Objectives

Through class meetings and out-of-class preparations, you should expect to accomplish the following learning objectives:

1. Understand the process of communication from the positions of receiver and sender in a variety of business and professional contexts.
2. Apply specific intellectual, practical, and ethical business communication principles to the composition, production, and delivery of typical business and professional messages and documents.
3. Enhance awareness of communication contexts and practices in other cultures.
4. Practice business communication skills in both independent and collaborative/team situations.
5. Understand basic to intermediate HTML and design conponents to produce professional documents for the World Wide Web.
