The Medical Center of Central Georgia’s Neonatal Intensive Care Nursery is one of seven Level III nurseries in the state of Georgia. This care facility provides support to critically ill newborns, either from premature birth, infections, congenital defects, or birth traumas. With 36 beds, this unit is normally at capacity.

I enjoy flowers, both inside and outside our home. I currently have a Thanksgiving cactus in full bloom, just in time for the holiday. Here,Callaway Gardens, features some daylilies and ivy similar to the variety we have in our back garden. I enjoy planting flowers and waiting for their blooms each year.

I cannot ski well, but my husband loves it, so I try. Skiing can be exercise and the cold is invigorating. Spending time together, having fun, and a chance to focus on each other are all rewards from a ski trip. A drive to North Carolina is only a few hours, so this is a great short get away for us.

My creative side comes to life when I am designing wreaths and flower arrangements or working in memory scrap books. I have made all the flower arrangements and wreaths in my home. I also make arrangments for family and friends. This gives our home a fresh, new seasonal touch.  

Scrap booking is a joy me and my family. We love to take photographs and cut them into different shapes. We apply seasonal and relevant stickers to make a memory book of our life.
