My name is Aurora Kersey. I was born in Tampa, Florida. I am one of the few natives in this area. I graduated from the University of South Florida in 1979 where I received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business with a major in Accounting. I worked in the accounting field for twelve years. In 1993, I began as a teacher's aide at Schwarzkopf Elementary School in Tampa, Florida, where I fell in love with teaching. In order to combine my business degree and teaching, I am beginning a Master of Arts degree in Business Administration. With this degree, I will be certified to teach business courses to grades 6-12.
