About Me

baby

I was born on August 24, 1975 at Bossier General Hospital in Bossier City, LA. I am the first of three sons of Glen and Candy Martin. My father is an electrical engineer that specializes in power plant start-up and operation and my mother is a retired educator/ librarian who is now attending seminary. My father changed job locations often during my childhood. This enabled me to see most of the East Coast and to live in some interesting places. I was born in Louisiana and have lived in Texas, Missouri, Kansas, Connecticut, Georgia, and Florida.

I graduated from high school in Orange Park, FL, and began my college education at Georgia Institute of Technology. I majored in Nuclear Engineering for one year before I realized I didn`t want to spend the rest of my life traveling on a submarine. While attending Georgia Tech I met my wife Chancie. I moved from Atlanta to Macon to be closer to her and to cut down on my phone bill. I transferred to Gordon College in Barnesville where I graduated with an Associates Degree in Business Administration. I am now enrolled at Macon State College and plan to graduate in 2004 with a Bachelors Degree in Health Services Administration.

Chancie and I were married on June 7, 1997 and now have two children. Hunter Glen was born September 29, 1998, and Braydon Michael was born February 4, 2001. Both boys are wonderful when they want to be. We recently discovered that we are expecting our third child to be born in July 2003. We are praying for a girl, but the odds are not on our side.
