Hartley Woods Health and RehabilitationHartley Woods Health and Rehab is a long-term, skilled nursing facility. It has the capacity for 142 residents and maintains a staff of 100+ employees. Brentwood Healthcare, Llc., which owns several nursing homes in the Southeast and Midwest, presently owns Hartley Woods. I began my employment here in February 2002 as the Housekeeping and Laundry Supervisor. In October, I was offered the position of Dietary Manager, which I accepted. The facility was built in the late 1950`s and was remodeled and expanded in the late 70`s. After the addition, the building is about 33,000 square feet. There are three Units with three separate nurses stations. Unit I and part of Unit II are in the newer past of the building. Each unit has twenty to twenty-five rooms with one to four residents per room. There are two Dining Rooms, a smoke room, and three solariums in the facility. The business office and Administrator`s office are located near the main entrance to the facility. The physical therapy and rehabilitation room is down the first hall across from Unit I. The Social Services, Dietary, Care Plans, and Nursing offices are located between Unit II and III. The Activities office and beauty salon are located on Unit III. There is a separate building that has the medical records office and storage and is used for large conferences and as a break area. |
