ENC 1101: Issues in TechnologyAssignment 2 |
After reading Dibbell and arming yourself with the basic command sheet, log into LitMUSE with a partner and explore. Practice talking, using verbs, emoting, moving around, touching objects, looking at objects, and reading objects. Spend some time there to orient yourself and your partner into the environment. Write about your experience; explain initial difficulties, how you overcame those difficulties, and your impression of the MOO environment thus far. What do you think are the practical applications for such a VR environment in a writing class? How does your direct knowledge of MOOs help in your reading of Dibbells essay? Post your observations to Littalk. (300-word min.) |
