ENC 4260: HTML / MOO Theory and Practice Project 1: Tech Center Development

Project 1 involves the development of LitMUSE’s Tech Center on an individual or collaborative basis. You will work within your discipline—engineering, chemistry, etc.—to develop a space within LitMUSE’s Tech Center that addresses both your discipline and technical writing. Basically, you will create a space that teaches some fundamental aspect(s) of your discipline using interactivity, description, and help. We will, as a group, try to make the Tech Center a place that can help others both with aspects of technical writing and their individual disciplines. Your audience should be comprised of two distinct users: the neophyte MOOer and the semi-technical professional in training (your colleagues). Requirements A room (generic room, portable room, or classroom) that has a description, help, at least one exit, . . . A functional object with at least two verbs, a description, and a help message A bot that answers questions about your discipline and your room(s) A book for the technical writing bookshelf. . . .
