Reading quzzes will generally take the following format. You will be presented with six key elements from the assigned readings. Your job will be to tell where the item comes from, author and title of the work (one point) and give two specific details about the item that relates it to the work (one point). Each quiz will be worth ten (10) points, though you have the opportunity to earn twelve (12).

Example:

Item: “Grenouille”

Answer: Patrick Suskind, Perfume - Grenouille, the novel’s protagonist has a supernatural sense of smell.

This answer would receive full credit; part one is non-negotiable, but part two has many correct responses.
