How do I use the Shear Delight 2001 Pruning Shears

The Shear Delight 2001 Pruning Shears are space age pruning shears that will allow you an easier time in clipping your plants. These pruning shears will allow you to finish your trimming in less time, without struggle, and even when the clipping is in tight spaces. These instructions will allow you to use the Shear Delight 2001 Pruning Shears to trim and cut your plants and shrubs. Any gardener from a novice to an expert can use the Shear Delight 2001 Pruning Shears with ease and confidence.

The pruning shears act upon a pivot bolt in the center and when the handles are squeezed together, the blades come together. The following instructions will explain the process of opening and using the Shear Delight 2001 Pruning Shears.

Warning: The blades on the Shear Delight 2001 Pruning Shears are sharp. Keep them away from small children. Never point the blades at your body.

Caution: Use gloves when clipping thorny shrubs to avoid injury.

1. Place the handles of the Shear Delight 2001 Pruning Shears into one hand.

2. Push down on the release button and slide it toward the blades until a click is heard. The blades of the shears will separate and open apart.

3. Place a stem or the object being cut between the two blades and squeeze the handles until the blades stop.

Warning: Do not place your fingers or any part of your body between the blades. The blades are extremely sharp.

4. Release the handles until the they come to a stop.

5. Repeat this action of squeezing and releasing until the cut is completed.

6. When you complete your cutting, simply squeeze the handles together, push down on the release button, and slide it back toward the handles until you hear a click.

After using the shears, wipe them off, and take care of them according to our maintenance instructions. Taking care of the shears is important for proper operation.
