The Shear Delight 2001 Pruning Shears have revolutionized the gardening world. They are lightweight, durable pruning shears that are able to cut most anything placed between the blades. The pruning shears are designed for clipping plants and shrubs, but it is not limited to these uses. The pruning shears consist of handles, a pivot bolt, a release buttton, a spring, and two blades. The blades and handles of the pruning shears operate on a pivot. As the handles are squeezed together, the blades come together and cut.

The handles of the pruning shears are lightweight and are constructed of titanium covered with rubber. The rubber provides a good grip for the user. Overall, the handles are 6 inches long and provide good leverage for necessary clipping. The handle is specially designed for easy grip and greater control of the tool.

The handles of the pruning shears connect to the pivot bolt. The pivot bolt is a circular fulcrum which provides excellent leverage while holding the handles and blades together.

On the side of one of the handles is the release button. The red release button keeps the spring tight and the blades closed when they are not in use. Sliding the release button forward allows the spring to loosen and bring the blades apart.

The blades of the pruning shears are connected to the handles through the pivot bolt. The blades' curving sructure allows larger objects to be cut with ease. The 3 inch long blades are made of a new steel alloy using the latest technology. The steel alloy blades are the stongest made and maintain their edge, so they never need shapening. The curving blades easily cuts branches up to 1 and 1/2 inches in diameter.
