My name is Jessica Elise Kelley, I am 21 years old, and a lifelong native of Macon, Georgia. I am attending Macon State College where I am currently one class away from an associate's degree in journalism and mass communication. My next move will be to work toward completing a bachelor's degree in communication and information technology at Macon State College. In addition to school, I have been working for a law firm for the past two years. I also enjoy taking pictures, which I would like to cultivate into a career as a photojournalist. The appeal in photojournalism for me is the adventure. I love sports and travel, and my dream career would be to work for Sports Illustrated or some other sports-related publication and photograph every major league baseball stadium. As it stands, I have Wrigley Field, Fulton County Stadium, and Turner Field crossed off of my list. I have always loved to write and to shoot photos because it meant that I was not the center of attention. This career would complement my personality. While finishing my bachelor's at Macon State, I will have the opportunity to build up a photography portfolio to present to future employers.
